Style Story : Nara Emerald

As summer comes to an end, we share this photo story with you featuring the Nara Dress in Emerald, which we will be releasing next week. These images were taken in the island of Puerto Rico, a place that's become a second home to us and unfortunately, was hit with a powerful hurricane just this week. It has left us heartbroken, especially after going through an almost direct hit ourselves just last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with all our friends and the people of this beautiful island.

The Nara dress is a free flowing dress. A modern interpretation of a kimono and kaftan silhouette, it epitomizes comfort and elegance. We imagine this dress being worn by a woman with an adventurous spirit, someone who is inspired by nature and the elements and flowing through the journey of life. We aim to design pieces that are comfortable and versatile and we love that this dress can be worn as a lounge dress for a slow day at home or dressed up for a formal event. Worn by our model Andrea, a free spirit, yogi and adventure seeker, we spent the day exploring the small town of  Jayuya, just outside of San Juan. These images were captured by Yaah Productions and paired in this story with poetry by Atticus, which we've been really into lately.
